Why have you chosen to live and train in Eugene? Eugene has always been one of my favorite places to run. Racing here at Hayward field for the U.S. Olympic Trials and for NCAAs are two of of my favorite moments and I know Coach Rowland is one of the best mid-distance coaches. I want to train with the best to be the best .
What is your spirit animal or what animal do you relate to? Lions. I love Lion King and I want to get a pet lion one day if I could.
What is your most epic workout ever? Two by 400 and two by 200 repeats. FAST!
What is your favorite track and field meet? The 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, for sure; I have never seen so many people in a track meet before in my life.
What drives you to work so hard? My parents and family; they did a lot for me raising me, and I want to do something special for them.
What is an interesting fact about you that we may not know? An ostrich chased me when I was 12 for stealing his egg. That’s probably how I got fast.
What is your dream job after your athletic career? Own my own business and be my own boss.
Who or what has been your greatest inspiration as an athlete? Muhammad Ali.
