Benjamin Balazs of Oregon ran a four-second PR in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase on Friday night in a downpour at the Oregon Twilight, running a time of 8:45.36. 

Evan Jager of the Bowerman Track Club ran 3:46.26 for fourth place in the McChesney 1,500 meters in a downpour on Friday at the Oregon Twilight. 

Kaylee Mitchell of the Bowerman Track Club won her second race in her new club kit, winning the 1,500 meters and taking four seconds off her personal best with 4:09.45 on Friday at rainy Hayward Field in Eugene. 

Duncan Hamilton of the Bowerman Track Club won the men's McChesney 1,500 meters on Friday at the Oregon Twilight in a time of 3:42.28 at rainy Hayward Field. 

Marisha Thompson of Victoria (B.C.) won her first steeplechase race in five years in a time of 10:25.88 at the Oregon Twilight in Eugene. 

Tayvon Kitchen of Rogue Valley TC (Crater OR ) ran a time of 14:27.87 running against college competition on Friday at the Oregon Twilight. Kitchen will run in his district meet next weekend and the Oregon state championship meet after that. 

Ella Nelson from Oregon ran 2:07.35 to win the 800 meters and overcame nearly stopping on the backstretch after an accidental contact with Christina Aragon in the rain at Hayward Field in Eugene.
