OTC Elite To Race Healthy Kidney 10K
Eugene, Oregon – The Oregon Track Club Elite will be sending two of its top distance runners to New York City this weekend to compete in the Healthy Kidney 10K road race. Shadrack Biwott and Chris Thompson will race against a stellar field in New York as they look to continue their successful seasons.
Biwott, who has already run an outstanding 1:01:40 for the Half-Marathon at the New Orleans Mardi Gras Half Marathon this year, will be running his first professional 10K on the roads in New York.
Thompson is fresh off his 27:29.61 10,000 meter performance at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational last weekend. Thompson has already run 28:02 for the road 10K this year with his performance at the Old Tratford 10k in the UK in March.
