OTC Elite Set To Race At USA Indoor Championships

Eugene, Oregon – The Oregon Track Club Elite will send three athletes to Boston this weekend to compete at the 2009 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.  The meet will be held at the Reggie Lewis Center on the campus of Roxbury Community College on February 28^th and March 1^st.

OTC Elite will be represented in the Men’s 800 meters by Matt Scherer, the 2005 Pac 10 400 meter champion while at the University of Oregon, and Brandon Shaw, a 2008 Olympic Trials semifinalist.  Mark Wieczorek, who will be making his Championship debut for OTC Elite, is also competing in the 800 meters.
