Matt Scherer is originally from
Illinois, he joined the OTC Elite in the fall of 2006 after he
graduated from the University of Oregon. Scherer was a 400 Meter
runner in college with a Personal Best of 45.19 which he set winning
the 2006 Pac-10 400 Meter Championship. In 2008 Scherer ranked 12th in the U.S. in the 800 with his Personal Best of 1:46.11.
