NEW YORK -- Moments after he and teammate Trey Hardee collected their gold and silver medals at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and one day after Ashton Eaton set the world record in the heptathlon at the NCAA indoor championships, Bryan Clay laid the framework for American dominance in the decathlon. "We definitely want to get together and get some training in," Clay proclaimed. "If we can, I'm telling you right now there is absolutely no reason why we cannot go 1-2-3 in a major championship meet. It sounds like a lofty goal, but if you look at the talent that we're producing right now, it's unbelievable." The caveat to that of course was securing the requisite funding to make it happen.
