Ashton Eaton still on course to break world record tomorrow

Ashton Eaton ended day one of the International Indoor Combined Events Meeting in Tallinn with the overnight lead and 17 points up on his day-one score from his 2010 world record performance.
The 23-year-old started the day with a big PB of 6.66 in the 60m, followed by an indoor long jump best of 7.77m, bagging valuable points. But it could have been even more, as Eaton took off way behind the board on his second and only valid attempt.
